How do I address an invitation to a person just starting a divorce?

Help me! I’m addressing my wedding invitations and I’m stuck on one of them. I found out last week that my cousin has just served divorce papers to her husband and I have no idea how to address her invitation. I think that they are both staying in their house for now. Do I address it to her only or do I address it to both of them? Any ideas?

After the first of the year I’m leaving my bf. My best friend and I are going to get a place in Nevada, I wanted to know if I can file for full custody as soon as I get there? Or do I have to wait to be a resident?

Do both my wife and I need to return to Florida to begin a divorce or can it be done from here? I would prefer not to use the legal system of the country where I am, but I am not sure what is required to start things. I would love to avoid the cost of flying back and forth.

Do kids become less valuable to parents after the parents divorce?

Dars asked:
For example if a husband and wife divorce, their kids are constant reminders of their ex. Maybe they have good reasons to really **** their ex. The kids are made from the ex though. They may look and act like the ex. Even if they don’t, they’re constant reminders of a troubled past.

Sometimes there are news stories about people who kill their kids after divorce. Some men go psycho after divorce and kill their (ex) family. Some women meet a new man but the man sees the kids as obstacles, then the woman or man kills the kids.

I am an australian citizen who had an arrangement hindu marriage in India. My wife left to india under the false pretence of studying after I paid for her exams. From there she has been sending abusive emails and demanding I come to India to answer her families questions. She will not communicate by phone or attempt to discuss anything by email. Family sources suggest that she may be after financial compensation. Should I try to obtain a divorce in Australia or go to India to resolve the issue

Leaving on a jetplane asked:
I would like to know if anyone can help me find out more on the child custody laws in West Virginia. The child was abused by one or both of the parents and I’m looking into trying to gain custody. I live in NC and I’m the aunt of the child. I can’t find anything on the internet to help me with what I need to know or to direct me on how I need to proceed. If anyone can help or tell me of a good source of information, please do.
I’ve already met with the social worker on the case and she is currently working on getting paperwork ready for a home study for my husband and I. I just need to know more when it comes to how long we would have the baby if granted custody. What happens after that?
