Can i file a divorce and still live with partner and not have to file for child support /custody ?

Ok, I want to file for a divorce but I am going to continue livin with partner for sake of kids. But dont want nothing from him nor do i want to file for child support or full custody. The packet seems so confusing, it talks about summons and that hes being sued and that we can not be around each other while the court make ther decision or something like that. I just dont understand. I consulted an attorney but im still confused they told me that the court will grant what I want if hes ok with it. The packet says stuff like if thers kids u must fill out the child custody forms and child support. I dont want all of that. again we will continue residing in the same home like a normal family but just not married. Will the court really demand child support and custody forms to be filed? UGH! I just want this over wit….and please no mean comments.
He is behaving in a irresponsible way financially and i dont want him to ***** up my credit over hes stupid decisions. That is why I want the divorce I want to be single and responsible for my own debit. does it make any sense?
correction (my own debt).

My husband is a scum bag. Months ago he said I could put a spy program on his computer so I could see if he was still looking at **** all the time. He didn’t realize I would actually do it and since then I’ve not only seen his **** obsession of course, but he downloads disgusting ****** files (we have a baby and he has more kids). He also writes love letters to russian brides and I’ve found out he writes letters to women in prison too. We’ve not even been married 2 years but I gave up my career (which I can’t get back) to be a stay at home mom, which he understood was of vital importance to me if we were going to get married. So he doesn’t know I know any of this and I can’t wait to cover the kitchen counters with screenshots of what he’s done. I want full custody though because I think he’s a terrible influence and I want to be sure he supports me financially so I can be a mom until I can get a new career going and she is in school. His biggest fear in life….
is what people think. And I know he would do anything to make sure that no one found out about all the stuff he’s been into and done.
My plan is to say that I agree to keep his secrets if he will simply pay a set alimony each month and child support so I can care for my child as she deserves. Because her and I do not deserve what he’s done to us, thats for damn sure.
He has a law degree and I know he may try to pull some tricks. Can I tell his family or my friends without him having any action against me? If everything is completely truth and just screen shots of what HE has been doing, as he gave me permission to look, can he sue me for anything? I just want to get this over with! Thanks
Explain to me how I’m the sleezy one when I have been completely faithful, given up my career to be the wife he wants and have his child and he goes out and lies consistently to me and does this bs. He also steals money (25% last time) from his paychecks before they get deposited into our bank account and lies about what he makes so he can keep what he wants, even though we agreed on how bills would be handled… of course he doesn’t know I know that either. Trust me, I have tried everything I can to make this work, he must have thought he would just marry a baby maker and maid and do what he wanted. Not quite a marriage, and not fair to her or I. My career required me to use my hands constantly but having my baby gave me chronic pain and tendinitis - so I literally can not go back to my career. So explain to me how I’m the sleezy one???
I will be going to a lawyer, just wanted to get some input first.

in nj does 50/50 residential custody mean both parents have to live in the same town?

If the custodial parent and other parent share 50/50 custody of the children after a divorce, which one has residential custody or do they both have to stay in the same school district for the children?

I am wondering what do i need to do to make it a legal thing, my ex husband has them once a fortnight agreed on by our divorce through our solicitors. I have parental responsiblilty he has tried to get custody but his solicitor said he wouldnt stand a chance so he stood that down. What can i do to make it official? I shall make an appointment with my solicitor in the meantime any advice would be great he does pay maitenance but it has took him over 18 months to do it. I am in the process of getting the backdated from the CSA as i am very vindictive at the moment with him!!

I’m filing for divorce in Alabama.
We have one child, whom we agree to joint custody for.
We don’t really have any assests to divide.
He has land that I don’t want.
It’s a nonconteseted divorce.
We’ve been married for about 2 years.
I was wondering if anyone could give an estimate of how long after drawing up papers and signing them would it take to be final?
