Tuo marito e Italiano? Anchio mio marito e siciliano….

Yes you can still divorce him. You would have to tell the courts that he is no longer in the country, and this is grounds for abandonment and divorce.

What I don’t understand is how he got deported if he was married to you at the time?

Go to Reno, NV.. the quickie divorce capital of the world.
When was the last time you had any kind of contact with him?
Did you get married here in the US? You should be able to get one.

He doesn’t necessarily have to sign anything. You can file for divorce. If he doesn’t sign it, it will likely have to be litigated. If he can’t or won’t show up, depending upon the laws in your state, after some predefined time period, your divorce will be granted.

No signature required. Each state has a period of time where when one spouse has abandoned or separated the divorce is essentially automatic. You already filed so ask an attorney what the law states in MI.
