Priyanka asked:

My husband is not in Bangalore and works abroad. He is ok with my going ahead with ex-parte proceedings. However, my in laws have always been trouble makers.Pls let me know if they can meddle with my trying to get an ex parte divorce. My husband often has no say over his parents.Would like to know what possibilities are there if my in laws happen to see the notice in the newspaper?

There is no need to put a paper publication for serving a divorce notice. You have to file a case under appropriate law to a family court. They will issue a notice to your husband. If he doesnt appear, even for a second notice u may put it for evidence and afterthat for ex-parte proceedings will be initiated. In india getting ex-parte divorce for wife is easy than a husband. His parants cannot interfere, as no other persons are allowed in a family court.
