Missouri child custody laws?
Biddy asked:
I can’t find any laws that I understand about this. Say that, several years after the divorce, the father is returning with intention of getting sole custody. He has emotionally abused his child in the past, though she never went to therapy for it, and he has a history of not paying child support or using his child support checks as blackmail to get his ex wife or daughter to agree to what he wants. And he has the stable money out of both the parents. Are there any laws that could be dragged up that would absolutely keep him from gaining sole custody?

Unless you took him to court on any of these issues it will almost be like they never happened.
However, unless he can PROVE you are unfit, then he will not get sole custody.
If his is behind on child support then the court will not even listen to him. It will sound like he does not want to pay.
If you end up on court, bring up all these issues and then they will be in the record.
Good Luck
