Ryan asked:

Im about to marry an amazing woman who has two children, I love these kids but the housing company on Fort Polk will not authorize a room for them, I have a child that lives with Mom back home in Oregon and we do not have child support or any other custody agreements set up through the courts, will I be authorized an extra room through housing because I have a child?

Since you don’t have at least 50% custody, I doubt it. There’s no reason for them to give you an extra room simply because your ***** created a child. You have nothing to show you participate in that child’s life at all or that it would ever come visit, much less live with you on a regular basis.

    Sorry.

Once you are married you become the head of household with children. Stepdad!
